Main Administrative Menu.

The six options you are given are:

1. Databases: This option gives the system administrator and the supervisor the ability to create new databases, edit DB, delete DB, create indexes for DBs, create index fields for DBs, create database storage areas, and start the database backup.

2. Users: This set of menus gives the System admin and the supervisor the ability to create and edit user profiles, logins, delete users, grant or revoke user access to databases, and assign users to be database administrators.

3. Groups: This set of menus gives the system administrator and the supervisor the ability to create and edit group profiles, logins, delete groups and grant or revoke group access to databases.

4. System Settings: This menu (Figure 1) gives only the system administrator the ability to change or set the location of all the system files as well as the administrators E-mail address and phone number. Also changing the login and password for the admin and the other settings.

5. Audit Trail Report: Only the system administrator can access this feature. The audit trail report will give the administrator all the information on what users and groups did on the server. Selective searches are available for both the browser and administrative sides of the program. The report can be returned to the browser in the form of a CSV (comma separated value) or TSV (tab separated value) file.

6. Purge Audit Trail: This option will delete the old Audit trail file so a new one can begin. It is a good policy to save audit trail files for a number of months just incase a problem is found months after the fact.
